Winter Cooking

I promise this won't turn into a food blog, but if you're looking to change things up with your normal recipes, my friend Megan recommended this GREAT food blog called Eggs on Sunday. My friends Catherine and Taylor came over last night and we were deciding between going to our very favorite Moroccan restaurant or cooking a Moroccan-like dish. We stayed in and cooked--brilliant choice. I will definitely make this again and one of the best parts is that she has pictures of what each stage should look like. So great. I highly recommend making this recipe with friends--it makes all the chopping so much easier! Overall a wonderful Saturday with dear friends, great conversation about books, community, education, energy (as in how everything is powered), and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Weekend life doesn't get much better.
